I had grand intentions of doing this last week when the kids went back to school as a BACK TO SCHOOL TREAT (for the parents) - then life got in the way - but i'm here now so let's get on with it.

We were playing a game of Mr Squiggle the other day and i suck a lil photo in.

I have gone to write this post a couple of times and then decided not to - if you let everything out for everyone else, there will be nothing left inside for yourself.

BUT, if this can help anyone then it's important (and going by the DM's after sharing snippets of my sobriety there's lot of us out there questioning our relationship with alcahol)

For me, shit had gotten so "successful" (insert overwhelming and busy) fast, and i had forgotten how to look after myself or put myself first. The only way i had taught myself to stop or relax was with a beloved vino at the end of most days.

This in turn created some hardcore anxiety the following day which is living hell when youre running a company, a household, trying to be at one with yourself (you get the drift)

So, long short short - after trying to moderate (pffft i don't moderate ANYTHING, and even one or 2 glasses was making me feel like crap) i decided to stop drinking.

WTF! yep wild i know! This lil Grott is 4 months SOBER ✨

My fave recourses being all the quit literature - particularly This Naked Mind by @anniegraceauthor a magical course by @thrivalistsobriety daily exercise thanks to my bestie @candiedlimecatering who has been smashing me at PT, meditation @sarahfinds is my go to, hot baths, herbal tea and the occasional Heineken 0 - (basically new self care rituals!)

And shit turned magic again 🌱
